If you haven’t heard about the firing of a celebrated organic chemistry professor at NYU after students  complained his class was too difficult, congratulations you have successfully insulated yourself from all mainstream media. But now even Science is weighing in with this editorial suggesting, regardless which side of the debate you fall on, perhaps we should all view this as an opportunity to recognize “the plain truth that the undergraduate education system that prepares students for medical school is broken.” | Thorp, Science 2022
