Shifting norms.

This meta-analysis of studies including information on maternal work hours disturbingly demonstrates that women working night shifts are over 20% more likely to deliver preterm and over 20% more likely to miscarry. This was outdont by women working long hours (>40 per week) who were again over 20% more likely to deliver preterm and almost 40%(!) more likely to miscarry. Who does this sound like? Paging an early-career female physician. | Cai, Am J Obstet Gynecol 2019
