Abstract gestation time.

We hope you were able to submit your abstract for the ASTRO Annual Meeting in between Valentine’s Day gift exchanges. FYI the meeting isn’t for another 8.5 months. That’s enough time to go from a buzz cut to a locks of love contributor, observe a Kardashian marry and divorce, or develop a full-term human (but that last one probably won’t happen if you were actually submitting your abstract during gift exchanges). In comparison, ASCO, which averages over 30,000 attendees, asks you to submit an abstract 3 months in advance. Thanks #ASTRObaby
