Here’s a novel look at the impact of prior authorization on oncology trainees. Across the 174/616 (28%) radiation and 139/889 (16%) of medical oncology respondents, the majority (78% of rad onc and 58% of med onc) had participated in attempting to attain prior authorization—the only surprise here is that it wasn’t more.
