Here’s a look at Duke’s novel Molecular Registry of Tumors (MRT), an internal database where all genomic testing results ordered within the medical record system are stored within a very detailed table. Not only can this help identify trends at large, but practically speaking it also sends automated notifications of when a result is uploaded that makes a patient eligible for a specific therapy or trial enrollment. How well does it work? Across 14 biomarker-driven clinical trials, 42% of all enrollees were identified via the MRT. | Green, JCO Precis Oncol 2021
