This qualitative study of 32 women receiving treatment across the spectrum of breast cancer diagnoses reports, indeed, financial toxicity contributes to psychological stress surrounding diagnosis and treatment. Nothing new there. But they went further to investigate strategies for mitigation. It seems the biggest gaps on the medical (not insurance coverage) side were understandings of how recommended treatments would impact financial health and of resources to help. | Gharzai, JCO Oncol Pract 2021
