Destined to win

This correspondence asks how do we interpret POP-RT in the setting of proPSMA? In other words, it didn’t stratify for use of PSMA. If the more sensitive PSMA imaging was used disproportionately for initial and re-staging studies in the whole pelvis arm, it could mean that cohort started with less radiographically occult disease. The authors replied that the proportion of patients who had non-PSMA staging up-front and at recurrence was similar between arms. | Brenneman, J Clin Oncol 2021
