We all know the odds of remaining free from non-melanoma skin cancer after a solid organ transplant aren’t great. This retrospective database analysis of lung transplant recipients suggests one easy fix is use an antifungal prophylactic other than voriconazole (whose side effect profile includes severe phototoxicity), which conferred up to 3x the risk of developing post-transplant cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma with continued use. | D’Arcy, JAMA Dermatol 2020
