Queue the music.

When it comes to efficient drug development, time is money (and lives). Given the endpoints of phase 1 oncology trials, they can take nearly 3x as long to complete as phase 1 trials in other areas of medicine. Simulations demonstrate that adding a “queue”  twist on the commonly used 3+3 and rolling 6 study designs can decrease time to study completion by several months. | Frankel, JAMA Netw Open 2020
