An omission of omission.

This editorial laments the fact that, from 2004 to 2014, the proportion of elderly women >70 years of age who omitted radiation for early-stage breast cancer increased from 0.04% to...0.24%. While it postulates that physicians are swayed by RVUs or just plain ignorance, it may just be that patients prefer one to three weeks of radiation treatment to years (and years?) of endocrine therapy. | McCormick & Reyes, Breast J 2019
