A small molecule inhibitor of mutant KRAS has proven for the first time to effectively shrink tumors in vivo. It goes where no other KRAS-inhibitor has gone before, namely to a “cryptic surface groove” that very specifically prevents constituent activation by GDP in mutant KRAS(G12C) tumours. | Canon, Nature 2019
