Re-calc.
A recurring conundrum in radiation oncology physics is, as we develop more accurate methods of dose calculation, we invalidate (at least to a small extent) past dosimetric experiences. This paper raises issue with observed differences in dose calculations made by newer, “more accurate” lung dose algorithms. With differences of as much as 14%, they appropriately wonder whether we should be so quick to adopt such algorithms for routine practice. | Cabanas, Pract Radiat Oncol 2019
