The VA is again taking the lead on policy implementation, this time with the VA Partnership to Increase Access to Lung Screening (VA-PALS) initiative to make lung cancer screening ideals a reality. The VA is partnering with Big PhRMA and tech to implement automatic alerts for when patients are due for screening low-dose CT and even to equip patients with lung cancer screening navigators. | Edwards, ACR 2019
