Trigger happy.

There’s no end in sight for the debate surrounding when to pull the trigger on post-prostatectomy radiation for men with high-risk and/or persistent prostate cancer. If nothing else, this experience from the University of Chicago indicates the downsides of pulling the trigger doesn’t seem to get men very down. A prospective eval of nearly 200 men receiving post-prostatectomy modern intensity-modulated radiation techniques (IMRT) reports only small transient decreases in all five EPIC quality of life domains. | Akthar, Eur Urol 2019
