Those don’t match.

The T2-FLAIR mismatch sign is one you’re gonna wanna recognize. It is a newly described imaging biomarker of IDH-mutated, 1p/19q non-codeleted astrocytomas. It’s simply a hyperintense T2 signal with a corresponding hypointense FLAIR signal. It’s only 50% sensitive, but it’s 100% specific. | Broen, Neuro Oncol 2018
