Tighten up.

Some people have been feeling the heat for questioning the safety of a one size fits all approach of breast hypofractionation. Last week ASTRO updated their radiation guidelines for whole breast, as opposed to partial breast or regional nodal, for the first time since 2011. The consensus? One size fits all, and that size is 40 Gy / 15 or 42.56 Gy / 16. And by all, we mean all: invasive or in-situ, any stage, low or high tangents, any prior systemic therapy or reconstruction, any comorbidities. So if you’re looking for controversy, we'll have to talk about a boost.
