Bowel frequency might be tied to prostate stereotactic radiation (SBRT) fraction frequency. In the PATRIOT trial, men with low/intermediate risk prostate cancer treated with 40 Gy / 5 were randomized to treatments every other day or once weekly with a primary outcome of acute bowel toxicity.
