Wait, say that again.

This study generated big buzz this summer by showing that even small amounts of alcohol intake increase the risk of breast cancer among premenopausal (by 5%) and postmenopausal (by 9%) women. On the bright side, vigorous exercise dropped that risk by 17% and 10%, respectively. Moderate exercise like gardening (aka activity) didn't help premenopausal women but did reduce breast cancer risk risk by 13% in postmenopausal women. On a more confusing note, being overweight was protective if premenopausal, but detrimental if postmenopausal. So, yeah. Good luck trying to counsel your next patient on all this.
