Australia is not only the harbinger of horrendous flu seasons, it’s now offering insight into the usefulness of new and expensive opioid formularies. Federal law prohibits tampering with an aircraft smoke detector, and these heavily-marketed opiates prohibit tampering with misuse of prescription painkillers. Only problem is, they don’t work--at least not in any measurable way on a population scale. Good on ya, Aussies.
