Embracing ethics.

The upcoming issue of Red Journal is focusing on ethical dilemmas within radiation oncology--two subjects you don’t usually see in the same sentence. The highlights include some of the oldie but goodie topics of patient autonomy and (un)informed decision-making, a call for affirmative action to ensure diversity within the field, truthfulness of scientific reporting in the current publishing business, and lots and lots on the slippery slope of financial coercion...all through the unique lens of radiation oncology.
